2024: Billionaire Avdeev sold his 62% stake in Rossium
The founder of the Rossium concern, Roman Avdeev, sold a 62% stake in the company to the structures of billionaire Sergei Sudarikov. The deal, which completed the full withdrawal of the businessman from Russian assets, was closed on October 31, 2024.
According to Forbes, Avdeev, who occupies 108th place in the ranking of Russian billionaires with a fortune of $1.2 billion, announced the completion of a multi-year partnership with Sudarikov, which began in 2019 with the signing of a memorandum of strategic cooperation.
Sergei Sudarikov, who is in 76th place in the Forbes ranking with a capital of $1.8 billion, owned 31% of the concern's shares before concluding this transaction. The businessman also owns 90% of the Region investment group.
According to the publication, the investment holding Rossium, founded by Avdeev in 2006, specializes in investments in the financial sector. The key asset of the company is the Moscow Credit Bank, which ranks 41st in the ranking of the largest companies in Russia in terms of net profit.
As a result of the transaction, Roman Avdeev completely stopped participating in the management and ownership of all Russian assets. The businessman plans to focus on the family, primarily on raising children, and other aspects of life that are not related to entrepreneurial activity.
As a result of the transaction, I do not have any assets or business projects in Russia, - said Avdeev. |
