History
2025: Launch of a broiler meat production enterprise in the Nizhny Novgorod region for 2.3 billion rubles
On December 9, 2025, in the village of Verkhopolye, Vachsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region, the official opening of the new poultry complex of the Russkoye Pole agricultural holding took place. The total investment in the project amounted to 2.3 billion rubles.
The opening ceremony of the complex was attended by Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrei Sanosyan and Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the region Nikolai Denisov.
The project was implemented with state support within the framework of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The investor attracted a preferential federal loan and received a regional subsidy in the amount of 121 million rubles. Support was also provided by the Corporation for the Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The production capacity of the new site is about 17 thousand tons of poultry meat per year. This volume will increase the level of self-sufficiency of the region with chicken meat by 20%. The complex has created 49 new jobs.
The company is equipped with automated systems for water and feed supply, microclimate control and uses the technology of cell-free poultry content. The production cycle is organized according to the principle of "empty-busy" with the obligatory full sanitary treatment of premises between cultivation cycles.
Andrei Sanosyan said that the complex was the first in the last 50 years in the region, built completely from scratch. Its launch will allow all the holding's production facilities serving the Pavlovsk poultry farm to switch to a new format for growing broilers.
Nikolay Denisov pointed out that the new facility will help bring the indicator of self-sufficiency of the region with poultry meat to 90%, which corresponds to the strategic goal of the region to ensure food security. The investor plans to implement two more similar projects by 2027-2028.[1]
