SKBK

The special design bureau of boiler building (JSC SKBK) is organized based on boiler production of the St. Petersburg Baltic Shipyard in 1946 for creation and working off at the pilot stand of boilers for the VTR ships. All ships and vessels constructed at shipbuilding plants of the former USSR are equipped with the steam water pipe boilers developed by SKBK. Now, in addition to development of ship boilers, the NPP "Kudankulam" (India), the NPP "Tianwan" (China) is engaged in development and delivery of boilers for industrial boiler houses and power plants, project development of boiler houses and power plants, supply of equipment, its adjustment and also development of the heat-exchanging equipment for nuclear power plants, including the Leningrad NPP.
