2023: Building a Company
Delo Group and Shandong Port Group (SPG) have agreed to create a joint venture (JV) that will implement transport and logistics projects in Russia and China. The agreements were reached following negotiations between the chairman of the board of directors of the group Sergey Shishkarev and the chairman of SPG Huo Gaoyuan. This agreement was announced at the end of March 2023.
According to the Delo Group of Companies, the joint venture is being created in order to form end-to-end logistics products based on the assets of the parties and modern IT solutions. In addition, the joint venture will work out initiatives in the field of warehouse logistics on the territory of the Free Port of Vladivostok, whose resident is the Eastern Stevedoring Company Global Ports (part of the Delo group).
Commenting on the creation of the joint venture, the chairman of the board of directors of Delo Group Sergey Shishkarev noted the following:
Following negotiations with one of the world's largest port corporations, we managed to agree on a transition from intentions to concrete actions. I am convinced that the creation of a joint venture is the first step towards our long-term cooperation with SPG, and together we will be able to ensure the improvement of logistics efficiency between our countries, as well as the promotion of joint transport products in foreign markets. |
