Salavat catalytic plant (Skatz)

The Salavat catalytic plant (Skatz LLC) is engaged in production and sale of catalysts, silica gels, synthetic zeolites (sit molecular), sorbents on the basis of oxide of aluminum and other products. The enterprise performs engineering of processes of an osushka and purification of gases and liquids, design of the sorption systems and provides accomplishment of a full stroke of works on increase in efficiency of operable units. Within import substitution at the enterprise production of unique microporous silica gel adsorbent for needs of PJSC Gazprom is developed.

Products of Skatz LLC are delivered to all CIS countries. The largest Russian and foreign companies, including PJSC Gazprom, PJSC Rosneft, PJSC SIBUR Holding, JSC Surgutneftegas, ROSATOM State Corporation, Rusnano State Corporation, NLMK, PJSC ANC Bashneft, JSC TAIF, PJSC Lukoil, Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, RUP "Software Belorusneft" and others are among regular customers.

2018

Skatz will direct 400 million rubles to scientific research and development of production

In 2018 the Salavat catalytic plant will direct to research works and development of the enterprise of 400 million rubles that is twice more, than the previous year. Skatz conducts researches on two main directions: improvement of products which are already put in industrial production, and development of essentially new catalysts and adsorbents. At the moment the project portfolio, implemented by the enterprise, includes more than 10 developments in different implementation phase – from a stage of verification of the concept of a product before preparation for production start.

A year ago Skatz adjusted serial production of the ASM modern silica gel microporous adsorbent which is used by the enterprises of PJSC Gazprom for preparation of gas for transportation through sea export gas pipelines "Blue Stream" and Nord Stream. "Today we conduct scientific and industrial tests of ASM at the new enterprises and we continue work on further improvement of properties of this adsorbent. Researches go continuously, our technologies are improved therefore at each subsequent loading consumers receive more modern and effective product", - the development director of the Salavat catalytic plant Ruslan Zotov notes.

Skatz is the important direction of scientific research new product development and technologies for gas purification from vapors of mercury and compounds of sulfur. Removal of these impurity is a basic stage in the course of preparation of natural gas for liquefaction. In Russia it was created powerful economic long ago and political grew on emergence of high-quality domestic materials and technologies for LNG production. This direction of researches is one of priorities of the Salavat catalytic plant.

For Skatz developments of own catalyst of processes of FCC which will provide a deep water of distillation of oil in comparison with usual technologies have not smaller value. "Demand for catalysts of FCC in the next years will only grow, the Salavat catalytic plant realized prospects of this direction in 2014 and without delay started development of the microspherical catalyst of cracking on the basis of own and European practices and technologies", - Ruslan Zotov notes.

Production upgrade results

Production capacities of Skatz LLC are upgraded that allowed to improve technology processes, to make production more economic and safe for ecology, to master release of a number of absolutely new products which do not have analogs in Russia.

"Full-scale upgrade of the Salavat catalytic plant is directed first of all to the termination of an importozavisimost of the enterprises of the oil and gas industry from foreign suppliers. Our task - to promote permanent quality improvement of preparation, processing of gas and oil products by continuous scientific researches and implementation of new types of sorbents and catalysts", - the CEO of Skatz LLC Dmitry Medvedev notes.

The comprehensive program of step-by-step upgrade of all production nodes of the Salavat catalytic plant started in 2013, over 500 million rubles were directed to its implementation. As one of the priority directions production of silica gels of all brands, including the ASM type which is applied to gas dewatering in the gas transmission system of PJSC Gazprom was selected. Production of this type of products was displaid at full capacity in the first half of the year 2017.

In the course of upgrade there was a deep updating of all operating technology nodes. On installations of Productions of raw solutions, zeolites and catalysts of cracking the systems of ultraprecise weight dosing of raw materials, automatic systems of its giving, hashing, drying of finished products and many other things were installed.

It is important to note that earlier by production of solution of silicate of sodium permanent emission in the atmosphere of aerosols of liquid glass to steam happened by an autoclave method. As a result of putting into operation of an end-to-end system of catching of steam and silicate of sodium, all products come back in a technology chain, without having a negative impact on the environment.

For control of technology processes the PCS based on the equipment of Emerson PM company was implemented. In general upgrade of the operating capacities allowed to provide high quality of products with the maximum economy of raw materials and energy resources.

In parallel with updating of production capacities quality control systems of raw materials and finished goods were upgraded. Re-equipment there underwent all operating laboratories of the plant: here the new analytical equipment and adsorptive installations was installed. Also the invalid laboratory on installation of Production of zeolites was reactivated and upgraded.
