2021: Creation of a technopark in Saratov

March 12, 2021 it became known about plans to create the Polygon technopark in Saratov. It will be located on the territory of a special economic zone of the technical and implementation type and will work on the basis of Roselectroniki enterprises - NPP Almaz, NPP Kontakte and the Central Research Institute of Measuring Equipment.

According to the press service of Rostec (the state corporation includes the Roselectronika holding), residents of the future technology park will be offered several types of benefits, including income tax, property, land and transport, as well as a reduction in customs payments.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Saratov Region - Minister of Industry and Energy of the Region Andrei Arkhipov emphasized that in the technology park it will be possible to develop the instrument-making direction, as well as energy, medical and chemical.

Roselectronik believes that the industrial infrastructure of the technology park should become an effective platform for launching startups in terms of commercializing scientific developments and increasing the share of civilian products. And tax and customs benefits will reduce the cost of production of products, and will also become an additional source of funds for technical re-equipment and modernization of production facilities, the holding added.

The volume of investments in the construction of the Polygon technopark by March 12, 2021 is estimated at 600 million. rubles The peculiarities of the project were discussed during a workshop in the regional government by representatives, Ministry of Industry and Trade Russia heads of industrial enterprises and universities. Following the meeting, the heads of Saratov enterprises will send proposals that will be taken into account when creating a technology park, as well as determine the timing of implementation for each stage.[1]
