2025: Battery plant buys autonomous current sources for ₽1,14 billion

LLC "Battery Plant" acquired the property complex of the Saratov plant of autonomous current sources for ₽1,14 billion. The transaction for the acquisition of bankrupt property took place in May 2025 as part of an open auction, which received only one application.

According to Kommersant, the buying company is 90% owned by TMH-Energy Solutions LLC and 10% by Penzadizelmash JSC, part of Transmashholding Group of Companies. LLC "Battery Plant" (ZAkB) was registered in Saratov in the summer of 2024 at Ordzhonikidze, 11 - within the territory of the acquired factory complex.

A plant from Saratov bought an enterprise for the production of batteries for ₽1,14 billion

The sold production complex includes 67 buildings, 22 land plots, 1,100 pieces of equipment, as well as 9 licenses and patents. The enterprise is headed by Stanislav Egorov, who was previously appointed by the holding to the post of general director of Zavod A&T LLC, which was declared bankrupt.

By the time of trading, ZakB had already acquired 99% of the debt of the bankrupt plant, the main holders of which were companies affiliated with Transmashholding: Trucks LLC (the amount of claims is almost ₽128 million), Trans Energoprom LLC (almost ₽261 million) and Uralelectromed JSC (₽450 million). These legal entities previously bought up the company's debts from companies unrelated to the holding.

LLC "Plant of Autonomous Current Sources" was engaged in the production of autonomous power supply systems, batteries and batteries for various purposes. The company was founded in 1933 as the Saratov Alkaline Battery Plant and since 2016 has been operating within the framework of the Autonomous Current Source Plant LLC (A&T Plant). The company produced products for the railway industry, energy and oil and gas complexes.

The company's share in the market of batteries and batteries for energy and oil and gas complexes reached 90%. Since 2017, the company was owned by entrepreneur Valentina Bondareva, since July 2021, 50% of the shares were transferred to TMH-Energy Solutions LLC from Transmashholding Group of Companies, which received the right to appoint the general director of the plant.[1]
