Sergiev Posad State Historical and Art Museum-Reserve

The museum was created on April 20, 1920 on the basis of artistic works of art of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. Later, the museum's funds included archaeological and local history collections, as well as the collection of the Moscow Museum of Folk Art Crafts. As of April 2023, the collection of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve includes 200,000 exhibits, including icons, medieval manuscripts and old-printed books, monuments of facial and ornamental sewing, gold and silver, works of painting, graphics, folk and modern decorative and applied art.
