The Shakhty Gas Turbine Power Station, part of the Megapolis Group holding, is one of the largest energy facilities in the Southern Federal District of Russia.

History

2012

Completion of the second phase of reconstruction. At the second stage of reconstruction, a steam-gas plant with a capacity of 55.8 MW was erected. As a result of the launch of the new PSU, electric power reaches 100 MW, thermal - 100 Gcal/hour.

2010

Shakhty gas turbine power station is registered at OREM (wholesale electricity and capacity market) as a supplier of electricity and capacity.

2009

The first stage of the enterprise reconstruction has been completed. The energy capacity of the enterprise reached 71.6 MW. During the implementation of the first stage, the construction of the production units of the steam turbine compartment, chemical water treatment, the combined auxiliary complex and cooling tower was completed, the installation of the main and auxiliary technological equipment was carried out.

2006

Arrival at the investor's enterprise represented by Megapolis Group Holding. Creation of the Shakhty Gas Turbine Station on the basis of the Shakhty CHPP.

1990

Due to material and physical wear, the company went into operation of the boiler room. Due to lack of investment, Shakhtinskaya CHPP stopped stable heat supply to consumers.

1973

Transfer of Shakhtinskaya GRES to CHP mode to provide steam and heat to the largest cotton mill in Europe (KhBK), built in Shakhty. Organization of heating of residential areas located near the HBC.

1948

Complete reconstruction of Shakhtinskaya GRES.

1943

Restoration of the Shakhty state district power station after the liberation of the Rostov region from the fascist invaders. Introduction of the technology of high-speed method of installation of boilers.

1931

Construction of the second stage of the Shakhtinskaya state district power station.

1929

On September 17, 1929, the Shakhtinskaya GRES was launched - the first in the North Caucasus and the second in the USSR (after the Shterovskaya GRES) power plant operating on an anthracite pin in a pulverized state.

1925

Adoption of a decision by the State Commission for Electrification of Russia (GOELRO) to build a power plant in southern Russia to strengthen the region's energy base.
