2022

Decision to leave Russia. Transfer of Russian assets to Awara IT group of companies

Awara IT Russia and SoftwareONE Russia announced the creation of a joint full-cycle multivendor IT company. The newly formed Wone IT company will ensure the uninterrupted operation of customers in the face of constant global changes and will offer comprehensive strategies for building the IT landscape that will help companies work productively in the Russian market. This was announced on May 16, 2022 by TAdviser representatives of SoftwareONE.

Purchase an IT company to integrate SAP and Microsoft Centiq software

Multi-year agreement with AWS

On January 25, 2022, SoftwareONE Holding AG announced a multi-year strategic cooperation agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the implementation of cloud technologies among its customers. Under this agreement, SoftwareONE and AWS will collaborate to accelerate the implementation of AWS services and solutions in all key industries, supporting joint investments in market promotion and expanding service delivery capabilities.

Key areas of collaboration include promoting Simple for AWS tools from SoftwareONE, migrating enterprises to AWS cloud solutions, and adapting and promoting the AWS marketplace in conjunction with the PyraCloud from SoftwareONE platform.

The company SoftwareONE helps its users manage them software and those used cloud services using digital supply chains ON and certified services and platforms to optimize the use of cloud technologies (FinOps Certified). With access to thousands of independent developers (software ISVs) concentrated in the SoftwareONE ecosystem, customers can use economies of scale to add value to the AWS Estate service. SoftwareOne bought BNW Consulting

Exit to the exchange: capitalization - $2.82 billion

On October 25, 2019, SoftwareONE made an initial public offering of its shares. The IT company set the IPO price at 18 Swiss francs, estimating its market capitalization at 2.8 billion Swiss francs ($2.82 billion).

SoftwareONE listed its shares on the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX Exchange) under the ticker SWON. Global coordinators and joint bookrunners of the IPO chose bankicredit Suisse, J.P. Morgan and UBS, and the financial consultant of SoftwareONE acted as Rothschild & Co.

According to Reuters, the founders and KKR chose the Swiss Exchange to place SoftwareONE securities in order to earn money on the local stock market, which reached record highs. So, the SPI (Swiss Performance Index) from the beginning of 2019 to October increased by 25%.

Partnership with Mail.ru Cloud Solutions

Mail.ru Group chooses SoftwareONE (formerly COMPARX) as a strategic partner for providing cloud services to Russian businesses.
