The American company Solaris Development founded in 2003 renders consulting services in the field of health care.

Solaris services medical institutions of Massachusetts, including the Boston children's hospital (more than 100 thousand patients a year) and Women's hospital of Briman (over 500 thousand patients annually). The company offers eMar-systems for process automation of prescription of medicines, EMR systems allowing a message of a medical card of patients electronically, etc.

2016: First Line Software buys Solaris Development

At the end of May, 2016 the Russian software developer of First Line Software announced Solaris Development acquisition. The cost of the transaction does not reveal.

First Line Software noted that deep examination of Solaris Development will add competence of the Russian company in health care.[1]

Thanks to this acquisition we will be able to expand the presence in the USA, and the combination of strong team of consultants with the strong company for software development will allow to offer ampler opportunities on a didzhitalization of medical services and transfer of processes of health care to a digital format — the president of First Line Software Nikolay Puntikov noted.

The CEO of First Line Software Alexander Pozdnyakov reported that by the end of May, 2016 his company already began to work with Solaris Development over joint projects and "actions for integration into our corporate environment of new colleagues from the USA".

In First Line Software Solaris Development purchases did not set the price. About  scales of the agreement it is possible to judge by  the size of revenue  Solaris which,  according to the buyer, in  2015 made "more than $1 million", CNews notes.[2]

By the end of May, 2016 the transaction is closed, and until the end of the year Solaris Development completely will pass into  the structure of First Line Software.
