Results of forensic examination on the fact of the patient's death - she died due to acute coronary syndrome

In December 2025, Zdrav.Expert received a forensic report from Soleil Clinic. It follows that the probable cause of death of the patient was acute coronary syndrome (ACS), which "cannot be identified through preoperative examinations according to the prescribed standards." The clinic stressed that these conclusions confirm the lack of guilt of its employees in what happened and exclude their criminal prosecution.

Patient died under anesthesia during plastic surgery

On July 3, 2025, in one of the private clinics in the Moscow region Podolsk , the patient died after plastic surgery. On this fact, according to the Main Investigation Department Investigative Committee Russia for the region, a criminal case has been initiated.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the incident occurred at the Soleil aesthetic and plastic surgery clinic. The 47-year-old woman underwent plastic surgery to correct her breasts. However, after the procedure, the woman's condition deteriorated sharply, while she did not leave the state of anesthesia. Despite the resuscitation measures taken by the doctor-resuscitator of the clinic and the emergency medical care team, the patient died.

A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - causing death by negligence due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties (punishable by restriction of freedom for up to three years). Investigators seized medical documentation from the clinic and questioned employees. A forensic medical examination was scheduled; all circumstances and causes of the incident are established. The investigation of the case took control of the Podolsk city prosecutor's office.

The website of the Soleil clinic says that it is a modern, high-tech, specialized medical center that provides an extensive range of services in the field of "beauty surgery." At the same time, it is stated that the quality of the medical services provided "corresponds to the level of leading clinics in Europe, Asia, Brazil and the United States." The institution performs such procedures as facelift, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, otoplasty, cheekbone plastic, mammoplasty, abdominoplasty, liposuction, postpartum plastic, body skin tightening, buttock plastic, etc.^[1]
