2026: Opening of a new refrigerator plant in Nizhnekamsk
In February 2026, a new plant for the production of professional refrigeration equipment was launched in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan). The Sovital company (part of Polair Group) will produce refrigeration cabinets for drinks used in retail chains and in the field of catering. The total investment in the project reached 910 million rubles.
The financing was carried out with the support of the Federal Industrial Development Fund (FRP), which provided a preferential loan in the amount of 295 million rubles. under the Development Projects program. The plant has a full production cycle covering all stages: from primary processing (cutting) of metal sheet to the release of finished refrigeration cabinets. According to the press service of the fund, automated lines for cutting rolled steel, a complex for filling the cases with polyurethane foam, a conveyor for assembling refrigeration equipment and other equipment were installed at the expense of the loan.
The production line includes models with a volume of 210 to 1510 liters. After reaching the design capacity, the holding will be able to produce up to 100 thousand units of products annually.
According to Sergei Kukushkin, General Director of Sovital, in cooperation with the FRP, the holding is launching new and modernizing existing production facilities. According to him, the opening of the plant is a "big step" in providing the Russian market with modern refrigeration equipment in the face of a reduction in the presence of foreign companies.
The share of own production in the total output of the enterprise exceeds 65%. Windows for doors are supplied by Frosteko-Glass (also part of the group), and copper-aluminum heat exchangers are supplied by Polair-Real Estate.
