2022: Attracting $500,000 of investments

The startup SportGate, designed to quickly search and book sports grounds, created by entrepreneur Antonio Palacios-Fernandez, attracted investments from Quonota Investments and business angels from professional sports. This became known on January 27, 2022. The funds raised are planned to be directed to the development of the consumer model for booking sports grounds in Russia and the introduction of new functions.

The total investment amounted to $500 thousand. The SportGate also expands the pool of experts in the team - Maria Lapuk entered the advisory board of the project and will oversee PR communications in the startup.

The application contains more than 500 sports grounds in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad for various sports: football, volleyball, basketball, hockey, tennis, squash, surf, etc. SportGate were the first to launch the option of renting football stadiums of the World Cup through mobile software. In particular, through the application you can rent a field, half or ¼ "Kaliningrad Stadium" with a capacity of stands for 33.4 thousand people. In January 2022, negotiations are underway to sign an agreement with the Rostov Arena and Gazprom Arena stadiums.
