St. Petersburg is stadium in the city of Russia of the same name, is on site stadium of S.M. Kirov. The author of the project is the Japanese architect Kisyo Kurokawa.

Construction of stadium began in 2007. It was initially stated that construction will cost 6.7 billion rubles, but afterwards this amount grew to 48 billion rubles. At stadium there took place matches of the Cup of confederations of 2017, there will take place matches of the World Cup of 2018 and the European championship of 2020.

On February 15, 2018 Zenit and city authorities signed the devolution agreement of the rights to full use of St. Petersburg stadium for a period of 49 years to football club.

One of 8 pylons holding a roof Because weather conditions in St. Petersburg are adverse for growth of a grass in the winter, and the city is the most northern of representing premier league, authors of the project made an architectural concept at which the field of stadium will move forward out of its limits, and the roof will be sliding to close a field during bad weather and cold season.
