STAR-APIC — the European developer of the geographic information systems and specialized business applications based on GIS. It is founded in 1983 (till 2007 — STAR Informatic). The STAR-APIC group has offices in Belgium (head office), France, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Morocco. It is most known in Western Europe and North Africa. In Russia STAR-APIC is represented by the official distributor Geoinformica.

- STAR GIS/Viewer is the "desktop", user GIS which is generally intended for consultation and information analysis, has an ActiveX-component;
- STAR NeXt is the access Web server to the data of different formats distributed by GIS, it is intended for creation of interactive maps, cartographic portals, etc.;
- MobileSTAR — mobile GIS for use with PDA and TabletPC;
- Mercator is the professional system of preparation of geospatial data (the edition of maps, atlases, etc.).
