2021: BMC Software bought StreamWeaver

In early October 2021, the manufacturer of corporate POVMS Software announced the purchase of StreamWeaver. The transaction, the financial component of which is not disclosed, will expand the AIOps solutions offered by the company and the opportunities for migration to the cloud.

According to BMC Software, the acquisition of StreamWeaver will improve the company's capabilities in the field of AIOps through "a wide range of ready-made data integrations built on an additional modern architecture based on microservices."

StreamWeaver tools allow customers to better predict incidents and risks, improve automatic bug fixing, and develop DevOps and ServiceOps support.

BMC Software acquired StreamWeaver

BMC Software Product Director Ali Siddiqui noted that both companies can help organizations apply AI to more effectively use their data and obtain information to quickly make important decisions.

According to BMC Software and StreamWeaver, customers will be able to reduce the total cost of integrating with the cloud, using in particular the capabilities of the enterprise-level plug-and-play format to achieve constant control over the transfer of data between popular IT tools in almost real time.[1]
