Syassky pulp and paper mill — one of firstborns of domestic pulp and paper industry. In 1928 the first stage of plant as a part of wood and preparatory, acid and cooking, drying and paper workshops, TPP-1 was accepted in operation. And on November 3, 1928 the first tons of not bleached sulphitic cellulose were produced. For production of cellulose at plant 6 cooking boilers and two press stalemates of firm "are installed to Banning. and Zeyboldt" (Germany) with a performance of 100 t a day. For production of brown paper from waste of sorting of cellulose in drying and paper workshop it is set airborne combat vehicle No. 1 of Brudergauz company (Germany). Along with mastering of capacities, building of the second queue of plant was conducted

History

2014: The northwest bank JSC Sberbank of Russia financed JSC Syassky Pulp and Paper Mill for 17 million euros

In December, 2014 Northwest bank Sberbank of Russia JSC was financed by the investment project of JSC Syassky Cellulose Paper Plant (JSC SCBK) on purchase of the equipment for the production of paper basis and sanitary and hygienic products made by the leading Italian manufacturers. Within the investment project Sberbank issued two import letters of credit in total amount about 17 million euros.

Acquisition of the equipment will allow JSC SCBK to complete production upgrade process, to strengthen positions in production of sanitary and hygienic products and to become the largest producer of paper basis in Russia.

Attraction of post-import financing from European Bank for a period of up to 5 years became important feature of the transaction that allows to optimize a cost structure of the company.
