History
Syzran Refinery is a part of the Samara group of oil refineries purchased by Rosneft in May, 2007.
Power of Refinery is 8.9 million tons (65.1 million barrels) of oil a year. The plant processes the West Siberian oil (extracted by Yuganskneftegaz) and also oil extracted by the Company in the Samara region (Samaraneftegaz). Secondary refinery capacities of the plant include catalytic reforming units, hydrotreating of fuels, catalytic and thermal cracking, isomerization, alkylation, bituminous and gas-fractionation installations. The plant issues the wide nomenclature of oil products, including high-quality motor fuel, aviation fuel, bitumen. Before acquisition of Syzran Refinery the Rosneft processed on it considerable volumes of own oil on the terms of processing.
