TANTK named after G.M. Beriev, OJSC

The main direction in the TANTK development strategy for the coming years and the future is the creation of a modern multidisciplinary aviation company operating in a closed cycle. Such a company, in the conditions of extensive cooperation, will be able to fully solve the entire range of tasks for the development, production, testing, support the operation, repair and modernization of aviation equipment.

The history of OJSC TANTK named after G.M. Beriev begins its countdown on October 1, 1934. It was by this date, according to order No. 44/260 on the Main Directorate of the Aviation Industry, it was necessary to organize in the city of Taganrog, at the aviation plant No. 31, the Central Design Bureau of Marine Aircraft Engineering. By the same order, the young engineer Georgy Mikhailovich Beriev was appointed chief designer of the Central Design Bureau of the MS.
