2023: Start of IT personnel training in healthcare automation
Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radio Electronics (TUSUR) has begun to train IT personnel in the field of healthcare automation. For this, the university, as reported by its press service on July 5, 2023, began to cooperate with the RTK-Element company, which has experience in the development and implementation of software in the field of compulsory health insurance (compulsory medical insurance).
Cooperation with TUSUR will create conditions in Tomsk for the training of highly qualified specialists who will help implement the digital transformation of healthcare in general, as well as automate the business processes of medical organizations in particular. The agreement will be implemented within the framework of the TUSUR IT Academy.
Within the framework of cooperation, TUSUR students will be given the opportunity to practically work with software products and systems used in healthcare. Students will be able to take internships on which they will solve real technological problems, try their hand and gain experience in an industry in the stage of active development.
Students studying in IT specialties, as well as those who study in additional qualification programs at the TUSUR IT Academy, will have the opportunity to undergo an internship.
As noted in the company "RTK-Element," in the future IT specialists in the field of health can develop software for medical devices, create systems for managing medical data, develop applications for mobile devices that help patients control their health, etc. TUSUR and RTK-Element hope that this joint project will be an example for other universities and companies that are also interested in the development of IT specialists in the field of health care.[1]
