2022: Cyberattacks that shut down some of the company's IT systems
On October 14, 2022, Tata Power is part of Tata Group, the largest integrated energy company in, reported India a cyber attack on its infrastructure. As a result hacker attacks , some IT systems were suspended.
Documents sent by Tata Power to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) said the attack affected "some IT systems" of the company. Details about the incident and the amount of financial damage were not disclosed.
