2021: Westinghouse Electric Company buys a stake in Tecnatom
On October 5, 2021 it became known that amerikanskayawestinghouse Electric Company buys a share in the Spanish engineering company Tecnatom. The transaction amount is not disclosed. According to Westinghouse, it has signed a final agreement with Spanish energy companies Iberdrola and Naturgy to acquire a 50% stake in Tecnatom. Upon completion of the transaction, Westinghouse will co-own and co-manage Tecnatom together with the Spanish energy company Endesa (controlled by Enel Group) through a joint venture.
