Telemedico — the service of remote medical consultations founded in Poland. Its users can communicate with doctors in a chat, by phone or video conference. The platform is global: by the beginning of February, 2021 communication with medics in the English, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Portuguese, Turkish and Arab languages is available there (increase in number of supported languages is planned).
History
2021: Attraction of 5.5 million euros
At the beginning of February, 2021 Telemedico closed an investment round of Series A for the amount of 5.5 million euros. As the main investors within this transaction Flashpoint Venture Capital, Uniqa Ventures, PKO VC, Black Pearls VC and Adamed acted.
The received funds a startup are intended to be allocated for cooperation with insurance companies and development of the international business. By the beginning of February, 2021 Allianz, AXA, Metrored, Compensa, TU Zdrowie and also more than 50 other insurance companies and the organizations providing medical care are among partners of Telemedico.
Telemedico said that more than 900 thousand patients use the platform, and the number of the doctors connected to it exceeds 600. The founder of service Pavel Sichkevich says that Telemedico holds more than 100 thousand consultations a month, in plans of the company to increase their number to 250 thousand by the end of 2021.

Flashpoint VC expects that "telemedicine will become the main distribution channel of medical services next decade". According to the co-founder of fund Mikhail Salontai, Telemedico can become one of leaders of the industry in Europe.[1]
