History

2017: Thermal control systems for space electronics

At the international aerospace salon MAKS-2017, the Russian Space Systems holding (RKS, part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) and the company-developer of cooling systems for electronics, Terkon-KTT LLC, entered into a cooperation agreement. In 2018, Terkon-KTT will develop and supply a trial batch of thermal control systems for space electronic products for RKS.

Terkon-KTT, commissioned by RKS, will carry out calculations and simulations, as well as produce a prototype of the products necessary to create instruments for spacecraft. If the testing of the solution proposed by the company is successfully completed, in 2018-2019, RKS will purchase from Terkon-KTT about 100 thermal control systems based on two-phase heat transfer devices.

After the successful implementation of the first stage of the project, the parties agreed to determine the main parameters of cooperation in other projects in the field of space instrumentation, the development and production of on-board and ground-based equipment, space-based information systems.
