2018: Declaration of creation of the The Ozone Project platform
In June, 2018 The Times, The Sun, The Guardian and The Telegraph announced creation of the joint advertizing platform. Consolidation is intended to create an alternative of a duopoly of Facebook and Google.
The platform is called The Ozone Project, passes test and will be started in the fall. Publishers hope to create "the best digital ecosystem" for themselves and readers.
Over time a system which was discussed was projected since summer of 2016, opened for other qualitative publishers and partners.
Advertizing expenses in Great Britain in 2017 grew by 4.6 percent and made record £22.2 billion.
