2020: Construction of the center of rehabilitation of children for 7.6 billion rubles in the Novosibirsk region

In December, 2020 the prime minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the order of the Government of the Russian Federation assuming selection more than 7.6 billion rubles on design and construction of the Federal children's rehabilitation center in the Novosibirsk region. The medical institution on 300 beds is going to start in 2024, reported on the website of the government of the region.

In the same place it is told that in the new center children with diseases of nervous system, the musculoskeletal device, rheumatologic diseases and diseases of sense organs will be recovered. Little patients will be able to be in the center together with parents that will allow to train adults in rehabilitation techniques which then can be applied in house conditions.

It is noted that in the center will use as the innovation methods of rehabilitation (robotic mechanotherapy, hydrotherapy with underwater exercise machines, exoskeletons), and traditional (physiotherapy exercises, occupations on exercise machines and in special pools). Besides, at the center are going to create clinical base where students will be able to have practical training, and specialists – to improve skills.

The cluster will be placed on the platform of 25 hectares on the bank of the Berdsk gulf. Under the project nearly 25 hectares in the valuable resort area are selected, the governor of the Novosibirsk region Andrey Travnikov reported.

According to him, the authorities together with Territorial Department of Rosimushchestvo for the Novosibirsk region will think over strategic development of this territory for creation on it an improving cluster which will accept children and adults from the Novosibirsk region and other regions.

In Russia of the rehabilitation centers the president Russia Vladimir Putin spoke about need of creation in the message to Federal Assembly in February, 2019.

Work is necessary big here. Let's begin with creation at least of two children's rehabilitation centers of world level, just as we do on the perinatal centers, and then we will move further, – the head of state said then.[1]
