2025: Appointment as CEO of Sergei Fedorov
Sergei Fedorov has been appointed to the post of Acting Special Economic Zone "Togliatti." Before being appointed to the post, he was the first deputy head of the SEZ. 2024: Residents' revenue growth doubles to $ ₽30 billion
The revenue of residents of the Togliatti special economic zone in 2024 exceeded ₽30 billion, which is twice as much as in 2023. This was announced in early February 2025 by the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region.
According to writes, TASS the volume of investments of residents of the SEZ "Togliatti" in 2024 reached ₽16 billion, an increase of 41% compared to 2023. Tax contributions of companies to the budget Russia increased 2.5 times and amounted to ₽3,8 billion. For the entire period of operation, companies operating at the Togliatti SEZ site transferred ₽11,02 billion to the budget.
In the territory of the special economic zone, 39 companies from various industries operate. The enterprises specialize in the production of automotive components, sunflower oil, liquefied natural gas, medicines, and are also engaged in the processing of metals and waste paper. In the near future, it is planned to launch a plant for the production of dietary food.
Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region Dmitry Bogdanov said that by the end of 2027 the number of site residents is planned to be increased to 44 companies, and the volume of invested investments will reach about 60 billion ₽. The number of jobs created will exceed 5 thousand.
Investors created 1,002 new jobs in 2024, bringing the total number of factory jobs to 3,694. The new residents, who joined the SEZ in 2024, plan to organize the production of equipment for the field of alternative power, polyurethane foam filler for car seats, light engineering products and plastic assemblies for the automotive industry.
Regional authorities have planned the launch of the third stage of the SEZ in 2026. In the next five years, it is planned to attract investments in the region in the amount of ₽4 trillion.[1]
