2024: Gazinformservice took money from Tris Firm through the court for information security services

The Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region decided to recover from the company "Firm Tris" ₽598 thousand debts and ₽102 thousand penalties in favor of the company "Gazinformservice" for unpaid work in the direction of information security. This became known at the end of November 2024.

According to CNews, the work was carried out at the Reconstruction of the Sports and Recreation Complex facility of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk. Debt accrued for the period from December 5, 2023 to May 23, 2023.

The contract between the companies for the implementation of commissioning work on the information security of technical security equipment was signed on September 25, 2023. The deadline was 45 working days from the date of signing.

Acts of acceptance of the work performed according to the forms of KS-2 and KS-3 were signed by the parties on November 2, 2023. Payment should have been received within 30 calendar days after the signing of the documents, however, Tris Firm has not fulfilled its obligations.

Representatives of the Tris Firm explained the refusal to pay by the lack of as-built documentation, without which the results of the work cannot be used. The company also announced a delay of 20 days in the performance of work.

According to the publication, the court rejected the defendant's claims, finding that the work was completed on time. According to paragraph 1 of Article 433 of the Civil Code of Russia, the beginning of the contract is considered the date of its signing - September 25, 2023, and not the date of preparation - August 31, 2023.

After the court decision of August 11, 2024, Tris Firm filed an appeal on August 27, 2024, but on November 1, 2024, the appeal was returned to the applicant due to violation of the requirements of the procedural code on the provision of documents.^[1]
