True Process

True Process — the American software developer, intended for data collection from medical devices. The company proposes a set of solutions for complete product lifecycle, including exact software development, creation of prototypes of solutions, connection of devices, integration and maintenance. The headquarters of True Process is in Milwaukee, the State of Wisconsin, and engineers are dispersed across all North America.

History

2019: Baxter purchased True Process

At the end of January, 2019 the large producer of the medical equipment of Baxter International announced acquisition of software developer of True Process.

Earlier, in 2018, the founder and the CEO of True Process Todd Dunsirn sold consulting division of the company to the client of ICU Medical. At the same time True Process had software platform of Vines which the company developed in 2012 for ensuring collecting and data processing of all devices connected to patients in hospitals.

According to Dunsirn, the software of the company is directed to integration of different devices which trace and collect data at a bed of patients. Thanks to machine learning such platform is capable to estimate the forecast of patients and in time to announce doctors critical situation.

Baxter purchased software developer for data analysis in the medical equipment

At the beginning of January, 2019 it became known that in the True Process about 50 employees, a half of whom worked far off on client department of ICU Medical from which the company earned about $10 million a year, worked. According to Dunsirn, most of the remained staff of the company were employed in Baxter after the redemption. Baxter is not going to translate development team of the software from the district of Milwaukee. Todd Dunsirn, as it is reported, left firm after closing of the transaction.^[1]
