History
1965: Creation of the Company
The glorious history of the enterprise began in 1965, when on the basis of the Tula Machine-Building Plant named after Ryabikov. The Tula Precision Engineering Plant was created. In accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation "On the Privatization of State and Municipal Enterprises in the Russian Federation" and Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1229 of July 9, 1993, it was transformed into the open joint-stock company "Tulatochmash."
The Company was registered by decision of the Council of People's Deputies of the Soviet District of Tula No. 17/30 of September 8, 1993 at the address: Tula, st. Comintern, 24. The Company is a legal entity and operates on the basis of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the Company. On March 31, 2001, at a meeting of shareholders of Tulatochmash OJSC, Vladimir Nikolaevich Filippov was elected General Director.
The very location of Tulatochmash OJSC, in the historical commercial and industrial center of Tula, next to the Tula Kremlin, suggests that the plant's roots go back to the deep past of Russia - to the period when Peter I founded the Tula arms factory. The traditional skill of Tula gunsmiths has always been passed down from generation to generation and became the foundation on which in 1946 the first domestic hosiery machines began to be created at the Tula machine-tool building, currently machine-building, plant.
Traditions of skill, professional revenue and high quality standards allowed the team not only to expand the range of products produced, but also to maintain a leading position in quality indicators. This is confirmed by the International European Award, awarded to the enterprise in 1995 for the high quality of production and exported products. More than 140 thousand hosiery machines, more than 100 models were shipped over this half-century to knitted factories in Russia, Belarus and many other countries.
Currently, the plant is an enterprise with a multidisciplinary machine-building production, equipped with modern equipment, including software control, and other means of mechanization and automation. In addition to hosiery machines, jacquard machines, simulators, special equipment, tools and technological equipment, fasteners and much more are produced. The designers of the enterprise are introducing the latest achievements of scientific and technical thought into new electronic models of the entire range of produced machines. The company's products are successfully certified for compliance with the requirements of international standards ISO 9000 series. The achievements of Tulotochmash engineers and workers were awarded the International European Quality Award.
Instrumental production has always existed at Tulotochmash. But it has become marketable only in recent years. Drills, throwers, molds with the Tulatochmash brand are in wide demand. The best confirmation of the quality of the Tochmashevsky instrument can be considered the order of the NTK "Eye Microsurgery."
1995
In 1995, prototypes and installation lots of equipment for the fuel and energy complex were manufactured at Tulotochmash. Hydraulic wrenches for making and loosening pipes and rods of oil wells. Drive for control of gas main valves with jet engine. Gearboxes for oil production units. The development of these types of products, it would seem, does not correspond to the profile of Tulotochmash. But it fully corresponds to the new strategy of the enterprise, focused on working in the market. It is this strategy that helps today the joint-stock company to maintain economic stability in a changing environment.
OJSC Tulatochmash, being one of the leaders of the Russian simulator industry since 2002, has been conducting full maintenance and restoration of training facilities in military units at the site of their operation or at the plant, as well as once every two years, together with the Main Directorate of Combat Training of the Ground Forces at its base organizes scientific and technical conferences dedicated to the state and further ways of developing training facilities.
The company has a license from the Federal Defense Order Service, which allows the development, production, repair of weapons and military equipment.
The company has established business partnerships with GUBP SV, GABTU MO RF, GRAU MO RF, OJSC Rosoboronexport, OJSC Simulator Systems, OJSC KBP, OJSC TsKBA, FSUE GNPP Basalt, FSUE KHZ, FSUE HC Planta, FSUE KBM, OJSC OBORONIS K
2013
In 2013, the management of Tulatochmash OJSC, represented by Filippov's General Director Vladimir Nikolaevich and Davydov's Technical Director Igor Nikolaevich, submitted to the management company NPO High-Precision Complexes OJSC the concept of the company's development strategy for the medium term (until 2020), containing an innovative development program and received comprehensive support. The basis of the program was the proposal to expand the range of products with the development of the priority direction for the development of the production of components of the Pantsir-S (SM) air defense system.
The technical re-equipment policy carried out at OJSC Tulatochmash in order to ensure the fulfillment of the assigned tasks for organizing the production of components of the Pantsir product allows the company to constantly increase the existing intellectual and production and technical potential. New production sites are being created, modern progressive equipment is being purchased, the best engineering and technical and working personnel of the region are being hired.
Having its own design and technological service, modern production facilities (mechanical processing, welding production, plastic and rubber production, galvanic and thermal treatment, printed circuit board production, instrumental production, mechanical assembly production), a testing base and a friendly team of like-minded people, united by a single goal and possessing great experience and creative potential of OJSC Tulotochmash with confidence and optimism in the future.
