2011: Core Activities

As of September 2011, Ufa Motor-Building Production Association OJSC was the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in the Russian Federation. The association employed about 15 thousand people.

The main activities of OJSC UMPO were: production, service and repair of turbojet aircraft engines, production and repair of helicopter equipment units, production of civilian ground-based products. OJSC UMPO mass-produces turbojet engines for aircraft of the Su-27 family (AL-31F engine), Su-30 family (AL-31F and AL-31FP engine), Su-25 family (R95Sh and R195), helicopter equipment units for Ka and Mi helicopters, and since 2010 began supplying AL-41F-1S engines (117S product) for Su-35S fighters.

OJSC UMPO is part of the United Engine Corporation - 100% of the specialized subsidiary of OJSC OPK OBORONPROM for engine asset management.
