2023: Investing 3 billion rubles in factories in the Moscow region
Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov signed an agreement with the managing director, chairman of the board of the Indian holding Uflex Group Ashok Chaturvedi on the opening of a new production of paint and glue for food packaging in the Stupino Kvadrat SEZ, the press service of the governor and the regional government reports.

He expressed the hope that other Indian companies will decide to invest in the Moscow region, creating jobs and introducing new technologies into the processing and manufacturing industries. In turn, Chaturvedi thanked the governor for the support provided.
According to the signed agreement, the volume of investments will amount to 3 billion rubles, 150 new jobs will appear. The company will establish an annual production of about 28 thousand tons of paint and glue for food packaging materials. Production will start working in February 2025.
By June 2023, Uflex Group is in the top 10 for flexible packaging and in the top 5 for packaging film in the world. According to the press service of the governor and the government of the Moscow region, by June 2023, 10 industries with Indian capital and a total investment of 12 billion rubles and 854 jobs were located in the Moscow region. The main activities of the enterprises are the production of chemistry, packaging, food and pharmaceutical production.[1]
