2024: Negotiations on the creation of a joint venture with Czechoslavak Group for the release of heavy ammunition

One of the largest European arms manufacturers offers Ukraine its services to increase its own production of heavy ammunition. Czechoslavak Group AS would like to invest 'hundreds of millions of euros' in Ukraine, billionaire owner and chief executive Michal Strnad told reporters on March 6, 2024 in Prague. According to him, CSG is in talks with the state arms group Ukroboronprom about a potential joint venture and is looking for suitable sites.

Release of ammunition in one of the NATO countries

In March 2023, the Ukroboronprom concern announced that it had established its own production of 125-mm tank shells and had already handed over the first batch to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. True, with the clarification that production has been established abroad in close cooperation with one of the NATO countries.

Earlier, Ukroboronprom reported on the establishment of the production of 120-mm mortar mines abroad.

2016: Export growth by 25% to $770m

The state concern Ukroboronprom in 2016 increased production capacity, ensuring 100% fulfillment of the state defense order and increased exports. This was reported in the press service of Ukroboronprom.

"In 2016, we increased exports by 25% - from $570 million to $770 million. At the same time, we fully fulfill internal orders and provide domestic power structures with the necessary, "said Artur Cherubimov, deputy general director for the development of the concern.

He added that such a result was achieved thanks to systematic work in international markets and cooperation with international partners[1] by[1].
