AZOT open joint stock company (UralChem holding, Berezniki, Perm Krai) – one of the largest enterprises among domestic manufacturers of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers on its basis (ammonium nitrate and a carbamide). AZOT is the only producer of the highest aliphatic amines, potassium and sodium saltpeter, crystal nitrite of sodium in Russia. In 2008 production volume was more than 1,700,000 tons of products.
