2019: Motorola Solutions purchased VaaS International Holdings for $445 million

On January 7, 2019 the producer of Motorola Solutions means of communication announced acquisition of VaaS International Holdings for $445 million.

According to the CEO of Motorola Solutions Greg Brown, this acquisition will expand possibilities of the company in data slicing pane, having added the existing software package in the field of public security and the platform of video analytics Avigilon. The VaaS Digital Recognition Network (DRN) subsidiary company states that it can trace license plate numbers in each large megalopolis of the USA.

Thus, VaaS will allow Motorola Solutions to obtain information on location of vehicles. In turn Motorola Solutions provides software to law enforcement agencies that will help services of quick response to reduce answer time, to increase the speed and accuracy of investigations and in general to keep order in the cities. Law enforcement agencies already used solutions of VaaS for fast detention of dangerous suspects and search of the gone people.

Expected income of VaaS in 2019 will be $100 million, reported in Motorola Solutions.^[1]
