2021: Foundation Launch

On December 7, 2021, it became known that investors Zamir Shukhov and Kirill Timofeev launched a new venture capital fund Vibranium Venture Capital for $10 million. It will invest in fast-growing Russian IT startups to bring them to foreign markets.

The fund is created for a period of 8 years with an investment period of 4 years. Vibranium VC is scheduled to close 20 deals in 2 years. The average check for each of the projects will be $200 thousand.

It is also reported that the fund will syndicate transactions with leading Russian venture capital investors, including active angel communities and development institutions. Vibranium VC expects to close its first deal by the end of December 2021.

Vibranium VC will focus on investments in IT startups that create a product in the B2B segment "based on advanced technologies" and have "the potential for rapid growth in global markets," the fund said.
