Terroir
Due to low temperatures in winter, all grapes are sheltered for the winter. Soils are loamy and calcareous, with severe frosts and blowing winds protecting against pests and fungi, and the large difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures during ripening contributes to better grape quality.
A set of grapes
European and Don autochthonous grape varieties make up the main line of mono wines. At the winery, a uterine nursery was created, in which they try to preserve the almost disappeared Don autochthons. Over the past decades, more than 30 varieties have been collected in it: Kumshatsky Beliy, Pukhlyakovsky, Sibirkovy, Tsimladar, Krasnostop and other autochthons, which were undeservedly forgotten, and today they are actively developing and used.
