2021: ChargePoint bought ViriCiti for $88 million

In early August 2021, the world's largest charging network operator electric vehicles ChargePoint bought the European a fleet management company ViriCiti for $88 million in cash. Some of the ViriCiti services may be useful to private customers or fleet owners who allow employees to use the company car on an ongoing basis.

It is important to note that as a result of the transaction, ChargePoint will also include more than 50 employees of ViriCiti, that is, the entire team of the company, consisting mainly of software engineers.
