2025: Enterprise Launch
GC "Dynasty" with the support of the agro-industrial holding "Eco-Culture" put into operation a greenhouse complex for the production of cucumbers in the Bobrovsky district of the Voronezh region. The total investment in the project amounted to ₽15 billion, the enterprise is designed to produce 60 thousand tons of products annually. The launch of production took place on August 19, 2025.
According to Agroinvestor, the new greenhouse complex Voronezh-Agro will occupy an area of 38 hectares and will become one of the largest vegetable growing enterprises in the region. Cucumbers will be grown using interplanting technology, which allows you to use greenhouse areas as efficiently as possible.
The first products of the new enterprise will arrive in retail chains in late September - early October 2025. The production capacity of the complex will ensure stable supplies of vegetable products to the regional and federal markets throughout the year.
Interplanting technology is based on co-cultivation of plants of different ages in the same greenhouse at the same time. Tamara Reshetnikova, General Director of Technologies of Growth, explained that cucumber seeds are planted in mineral wool cubes, and when a certain stage of growth is reached, young plants are added to the old plant.
According to Reshetnikova, the root system of an adult plant gradually wears out when supplying a stem 6-12 meters long. Placing a young plant nearby in a mineral wool cube adds new roots and a conductive system to an older plant, allowing the fruiting period to be extended without cutting it.
The 38-hectare cucumber greenhouse complex is a large enterprise for the European part of Russia. The expert noted that the market for these products in the region is oversaturated, especially with budget varieties of cucumbers, which creates additional challenges for new producers.[1]
