2024: Plant Launch

Voronezh In December 2024, LLC Thermal Insulation Materials Combine (VKTM) opened a plant for the production of high-performance thermal insulation materials based on basalt fiber in the Maslovsky industrial park. The volume of investments in the project is ₽7,4 billion.

The production capacity of the plant will be 57.6 thousand tons of mineral wool thermal insulation materials per year. The company has created 200 jobs, and upon reaching full capacity, the staff will increase to 230 employees.

VKTM for ₽7 billion launched a plant for the production of thermal insulation for houses in the Voronezh region

Of the total investment, ₽7,35 billion was allocated for capital expenditures, and ₽69 million - for working capital. The expected annual gross revenue of the enterprise will be at least ₽4,5 billion, and tax revenues by the end of 2030 will exceed ₽4 billion.

The opening ceremony was attended by Russian Senator Sergei Lukin, Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev, Minister of Economic Development of the Region Lyudmila Zaporozhtseva and General Director of JSC "ViNKo" Sergei Yusupov.

The new production specializes in the manufacture of basalt fiber stone wool, which, according to the IARC/IARC classification, is safe for health and does not belong to carcinogenic substances. The material has high vapor permeability, biological resistance, shape stability and non-combustible properties.

The launch of the plant will strengthen the position of domestic manufacturers in the market of thermal insulation materials, where basalt thermal insulation is becoming more and more in demand both in Russia and in Europe due to its unique technical characteristics and environmental safety.

The company will become one of the largest manufacturers of thermal insulation materials in the region and will make a significant contribution to the development of the construction industry. The use of modern equipment and advanced technologies will ensure high quality products that meet international standards.[1]
