2025: Closing of sales of electric vehicles in Russia
In May 2025, Voyah said it was winding down sales of electric cars and had no plans to deliver them. The company clarified that despite the interest in fully electric cars in the Russian Federation, most motorists prefer hybrids, which are a kind of bridge for switching from a car from an internal combustion engine to a model with an electrical installation. Therefore, Voyah will focus on the hybrids that the company produces at the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region.[1]
2022: Entering the Russian market
In November 2022, the Chinese premium electric vehicles Voyah entered the Russian market. Lipetsk Motorinvest became the official importer of these cars. 15 dealer contracts signed.
As of November 24, 2022, only one brand model, Voyah Free, has been presented on the Russian Voyah website so far. It is argued that the range will be enough for 500 km (battery capacity - 103 kW) and that you can charge the battery from 20% to 80% at 120 kW in 30 minutes.
The equipment list includes three monitors in the front panel with a diagonal of 12.3 inches each, a Dynaudio audio system with ten speakers, wireless charging, a system of all-round cameras, an automatic parking assistant, adaptive cruise control with road sign recognition systems, markings and traffic assistant in traffic jams, driver fatigue control system, night vision system, various collision prevention systems under various scenarios.

The cost of Voyah Free on the Russian market by November 24, 2022 has not been announced. In China, the price of an electric car starts at 313,600 yuan (about 2.6 million rubles).
According to Autoreview, unofficial dealers have a Voyah Free price in other versions of about 6.4 million rubles: the guarantee in this case will be either a dealer, or it will not be at all. In 2023, Motorinvest will also bring premium Voyah Dreamer electric minivans to Russia. Unofficial suppliers are ready to accept an order for such a car, the price is 10 million rubles.[2]
