2014: Norvik Banka acquired 97.75% of bank shares
October 8, 2014 Vyatka Bank the Latvian commercial bank Norvik Banka became the major shareholder. At Opidius Holdings Limited company (Cyprus) the right to dispose of bank shares in the amount of 97.75%, at the same time the right to dispose of these shares is stopped appeared at Norvik Banka (Riga).
Let's note that the owner of a controlling stake of Norvik Banka is the Russian investor Grigory Guselnikov. He heads Board of Directors Vyatka Bank and earlier controlled it through Opidius Holdings Limited.
This week the Delfi Business portal reported that Guselnikov who became the owner of Norvik Banka in December, 2013 increased authorized capital of bank almost by 70 million euros. On data of online edition, the Russian financier has ambitious plans for development of Norvik Banka and intends to turn it in "one of the most technology developed universal banks in Northern Europe".
