2024: Hackers steal $235 million from WazirX

A multi-signature wallet is a type of cryptocurrency wallet that requires two or more signatures to confirm and send a transaction. It is considered a secure storage option for crypto assets with additional layers of security. It is not yet known what caused the crash and allowed hackers to hack into the WazirX wallet.
Blockchain investigations and analytics firm Elliptic said the attack is linked to a North Korean hacking group. Blockchain data shows that hackers began offloading assets through the decentralized Uniswap exchange.[1]
