History

  • The news website "Webplanet" was started in the 2001st year and before the closing in 2011 constantly wrote about the Russian Internet business. From 2001st year within five years its founder Denis Kryuchkov was the Chief Editor of the website.

  • In the spring of the 2006th year Denis Kryuchkov left Webplanet as a result of the conflict with other co-owner of the edition Alexander Burmistrov. The same year Denis Kryuchkov started Habrahabr.

  • Within several months till June of the 2006th year Ruslan Kurepin after classroom indicators of the website worsened directed the edition, the former columnist of Webplanet Lyokha Andreyev who could stabilize a situation became the editor-in-chief and remained the editor-in-chief till November of the 2011th year.

  • On November 18, 2011 the Webplanet edition ceased to be updated. The former Chief Editor of the edition of Lech Andreev reported: "Especially nobody communicated with me. Lyonya left now (Leonid Filatov: the former shareholder of Masterhost who sold the share and the initiator of purchase of Webplanet), told that Webplanet and it is necessary to wait for an asset of Masterhost that will be told by other shareholders. Benevolensky and one more. I talked to them, they asked me what who does. As, why. What options are possible and so on. Usually communicated. Told that will think. That they completely solved - I do not know. Told that still just stop. Just they deal with those assets with which he was engaged, Filatov. Naturally they asked in general about that as it everything works as earns. Told that will think. There now thought. I fairly do not know what they want, Lyonya did not tell too - goes about the own business. He said earlier that it will take away Webplanet with itself(himself), roughly speaking. Perhaps it also left with some minuses, I do not know. And when people leave with minuses they do not pay attention to any more such trifles"[1].

In addition to Denis Kryuchkov in Webplanet other authors and editors brightly proved:

  • Pavel Protasov,
  • Alexander Militsky,
  • Pyotr Didenko,
  • Masha Formanyuk,
  • Nikolaev's gold.

In authors of the edition also popular network figures - for example, Anton Nosik were marked out.
