As found out TAdviser in December, 2020, the former deputy director general on IT of Freight One (FO) Vadim Uryas who left the company in June began to develop own business. According to base of legal persons " circuit.focus ", in September it purchased Frutti LLC company and now is also her CEO.

Activity of this company formed in 2015 is connected mainly with retail by food and drinks, including alcoholic, it is specified in base. Its revenue in 2019 made 20.7 million rubles, net profit – 209 thousand rubles.

Vadim Uryas told TAdviser that based on Frutti LLC began to develop the business connected with wines. Earlier it was the wine grocery store at the trading company which sold wines only from its range, he says. And now it is a collection of wines where wines from broader spectrum of suppliers – about 10-11 companies are provided.

The new project received the name Winista. The collection of wines around Patriarchal ponds is located at the address Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya St., 32/str 2.

The idea is in creating a collection of wines in the center with good wine selection, on a format close to wine bar. We want that people could come, sit and talk in the pleasant place. Also the collection of wines can act as the platform for different actions, - Vadim Uryas explained TAdviser.

According to him, the works connected with repair and design were already carried out in September and October, and in November the collection of wines opened. As of the end of November it is in process of obtaining licenses for sale of alcohol in pouring and already works as the platform for events which are held by partners of the company.

The collection of wines is located around Patriarchal ponds, in the popular place. It already has an acquired customer base for previous years works. Of course, in view of the current situation with a pandemic now there are less people, but over time the flow will be recovered, - Vadim Uryas says.

In the large companies of Uryas worked at positions of CIO about 17 years. Despite the gained wide experience in this sphere, it does not find the idea to develop own business connected with IT attractive.

From all IT startups the very few "shoot". In this sphere such quantity of initiatives that all already it gorged on, - Vadim Uryas notes. – But, eventually, the IT will not get to anywhere. Now I from this sphere have a rest, and further who knows, maybe, will appear something interesting, with it connected. However, I definitely do not want to develop own IT-Business.

The idea to be engaged in the business connected with wines appeared long ago. According to Vadim Uryas, this sphere is interesting to him, it rotates among adherents long ago.

Knowledge accumulated during the stay of work of CIO, Vadim Uryas applies also in the child: in addition to transformation of a format and a brand, he carries out also digital transformation of the platform: increases presence at online space, is going to replace the existing "heavy" accounting systems with easy services. Also he is ready to look at ready-made digital solutions for end consumers who could improve client experience in a collection of wines.

The concept of institutions with a wine bias in the largest Russian cities gains popularity in recent years, the number vinotek and wine bars grows, and this trend was not broken also by an epidemiological situation. So, for example, at the end of October the producer and the distributor of Ladoga alcohol announced plans in 2021 to expand the network vinotek twice. Own vinotek then spoke about plans for increase in quantity in Simple Group import company and in "Luding"[1].

The competition grows in a segment of wine bars, in particular, because of permanent appearance of new players, and on the other hand in this niche still there is a space to be unrolled. In 2018 in Why Not Wine estimated employment of a segment of wine bars in Moscow at only 20%[2]. And here too, despite the blow struck with closing of bars and restaurants in Moscow against the background of spread of a new koronavirusny infection in 2020 opening of new points continued.
