Southern Ural state humanitarian and pedagogical university (YUURGGPU)

Southern Ural state humanitarian and pedagogical university (YUURGGPU), earlier Chelyabinsk state pedagogical university.

The university implements four levels of professional education: secondary professional education, the highest professional — a bachelor degree, the highest professional — a magistracy and the highest professional — training of the top skills (postgraduate study).

History

2016

In 2016 the university received the name the Southern Ural state humanitarian and pedagogical university.

2013

In 2013 at the university the college which began to train the personnel with secondary professional education was open.

2009

In 2009 the Quality management system of ChGPU passed the international assessment and registration of authorized organization NQA for compliance to requirements of BS EN ISO standard 9001:2000 and also ChGPU was entered in the register "Reliable reputation".

1995

In 1995 the institute received the status of the university and was renamed into the Chelyabinsk state pedagogical university.

1934

Since the foundation in 1934 from small teacher's college turned into one of the leading pedagogical universities of Russia. In 1984 for progress on preparation of the teacher's personnel the university was awarded with an Order of the Badge of Honour.
