History

2015

The company is going to make fuel pumps of high pressure for the accumulator fuel-delivery systems of Euro-5 and Euro-6 standard that will allow to provide import substitution in diesel engine manufacturing, one of the most important directions of mechanical engineering. High-speed diesel engines with the electronically controlled fuel-delivery systems of accumulator type (Common Rail type) are used in the car - traktoro-and shipbuilding and also in agricultural and special mechanical engineering.

Accomplishment of modern and perspective ecological requirements of 5 and 6 classes requires use of essentially new fuel-delivery equipment providing the elevated pressure of injection, high accuracy of a dosage of fuel, flexible integrated management with launch and characteristic of injection depending on a diesel operation mode. The new product corresponds to technological level of foreign analogs, but is better adapted for the Russian operating conditions. Besides, it is expected that it will cost up to 20% cheaper than products of competitors.

Up to 70% of all diesel engines released in the world it is equipped with the Common Rail systems. The share of the fuel-delivery equipment of foreign producers in Russia is about 50%, and this indicator grows in connection with toughening of ecological requirements and expansion of application of the Common Rail system.

Project implementation will become an important element of building of a complete production chain of import-substituting engine building. By 2021 thanks to project implementation the company is going to occupy up to 70% of the Russian market of the systems of this type and also to enter foreign markets.

In the project progress it is going to create 360 jobs. Investments into the project will make about 479.4 million rubles, including preferential loan joint financing from Fund of development of the industry – 200 million rubles.

Konstantin Rowhani, director of the Power Units division of GAZ Group: "This project opens the major direction in engine building – the organization of own, domestic production of the fuel Common Rail systems which are extremely demanded in the market now and will be demanded further. The project will allow to provide consumers with the modern and qualitative product meeting the international standards, and control over technical characteristics and the price of the most expensive component of the engine will give the chance to the Russian enterprises to a lesser extent to depend on exchange rate fluctuations".
