Zepter International is a multi-brand international company that manufactures and sells consumer products around the world mainly through direct sales as well as through the retail chain. The company was founded in 1986 in Linz (Austria), headquartered in Switzerland.

Zepter International is part of the Zepter Group.[1]

History

1996: Merger with Bioptron AG and Intercosmetica Neuchâtel

In 1996, the company expanded its product range through a merger with two Swiss firms: Bioptron AG (medical devices and equipment; now the Medical brand) and Intercosmetica Neuchâtel SA (skin care cosmetics; now the Cosmetics brand). After the merger, the company's headquarters moved to the Swiss commune of Vollerau.

Later, the company merged with the Swedish company Kuna Group AB, and launched the Aqueena water treatment system (Home Care brand) on the market.

Later, the holding structure Zepter Finance AG was created, working in the field of non-state pension, health care, insurance and real estate.

1986: Stainless Steel Cookware Production

In 1986, Zepter International introduced stainless steel utensils and table serving accessories (now the Home Art brand), which was produced at Menfi Industria S.p.A's own plant in Milan.
