2025: Construction of a scientific center for AI and cybersecurity research for 1.8 billion rubles

The Zitech company will build a scientific center in Nizhny Novgorod, whose specialists, among other things, will be engaged in research in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. This was announced at the end of October 2025 by the regional government.

The implementation of the project will cost 1.8 billion rubles. Under the creation of the complex, the Council for Land and Property Relations under the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region approved the allocation of a land plot of 6.4 thousand square meters in the area of ​ ​ the Oksky Congress.

The complex will include the scientific center itself, as well as a hotel and a business center. It is noted that the designed class "A" offices, hotel rooms, conference rooms and related infrastructure will contribute to the involvement of IT companies and specialists in various fields in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The area of ​ ​ the scientific center will be approximately 18.7 thousand square meters. Underground parking for 69 cars is planned. The main areas of work, in addition to AI and cybersecurity, are research in the field of IT and software. In turn, the building of the hotel and business center will have an area of ​ ​ 54.3 thousand square meters. The underground car park is designed for 293 parking spaces. Thus, the total area of ​ ​ the structures is about 73 thousand square meters. An additional 50 parking spaces will be located on the territory of the complex. Construction is planned to begin in 2026, and the facility is expected to be commissioned in May 2029.

Zitech, as noted on its website, designs and implements IT solutions of any complexity. It provides a complete cycle of software creation, including analysis and design, design and development, integration with third-party services, preparation for operation, support and maintenance.^[1]
